We’re not going to do Mr. Linky today (where you can enter a link to your own blog post for all of us to click on). We will start that next week with Chapter 1.

I know so many of you have been praying for this incredible journey we are about to go on, and I’d like to take a second and do it again:

Father, thank you for all that you have done and all that you are about to do.  Lord, I pray that as each person begins to read, write and study that you would begin to speak into our lives.  That you would begin to reveal to us what it is you want us to see in each chapter.  Lord,  I thank you for the technology that you have given us.  That we can use it for such a time as this to reach others across the globe.  I pray that your hand be in this and on this each and every day that we gather together. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Here are some things we would like to know about YOU today:

1. Your name. (full name, first name, nickname, whatever)
2. Where you are. (city/state, just state, country, GPS axis)
3. A one-sentence bio (again, as little or as much as you would like to share)
4. How you knew God wanted you to read this book and/or what you’re hoping will happen as a result of reading it.
5. Any fears, concerns, or other emotions you’re feeling about the next 9 weeks.

Some of you are already feeling completely overwhelmed with these 5 “questions.” Don’t be. If you want to say, “Hi, I’m Emily from Columbus, OH and I like to take pictures and Michelle twisted my arm to get me to read this book,” and be done with it, that’s perfectly fine.

If you want to write paragraphs and paragraphs, also fine. (Although if you want people to actually read what you write, I’d keep it on the short-and-sweet side. HA!)
