Courage to be Brave

Yesterday we talked about winners never quitting and the attitude of a winner. Today I want to talk you about Courage.

Casting Crowns has a song titled "We were made to be courageous" from the movie Courageous.  The first two lines read -

We were made to be courageous. We were made to lead the way.

We all need courage.

Courage comes from God while fear is what the enemy tries to give us.

Courage is available the same way fear is, but we can choose to reject fear and take courage.

John 16:33 - I have told you these things, so that in Me you may have [perfect] peace and confidence. In the world you have tribulation and trials and distress and frustration; but be of good cheer [take courage; be confident, certain, undaunted]! For I have overcome the world. [I have deprived it of power to harm you and have conquered it for you.] (AMP)

No matter what comes against us, if we have confidence that we can make it through, it won't bother us that much.

It isn't really our problems that make us unhappy, it is how we respond to them.

Be confident don't feel confident in v. 33

Be courageous don't feel courageous.

Forget about yourself and start doing all you can to help others.

Get a new goal...put smiles on faces.

Encourage, edify, lift up, comfort, help, give hope, relieve pain, and lift burdens.

Show Love in your Confidence.
