Unwrap the One, True Gift this Holiday Season

It was so great to speak at Lone Oak Baptist in Paducah, Kentucky on Sunday night this holiday season. The girls there are spectacular! Kristy, the MOPS Coordinator, wanted me to talk about Stress-Free Holidays and planning for them. I think in the end I left them with more stress than less!

Scale Back

During the week as I was preparing for the message, I felt God really putting on my heart to pause and scale back this year. To remind them about the One, True Gift we all need to unwrap this year...Jesus Christ. With all the craziness, monotony and busyness, to celebrate God's love and express this gift of love to others.

So I challenged them, and am challenging you, what will you do this Christmas to unwrap HIS love, HIS gift? Will it be helping a homeless shelter? Feeding the hungry? Donating toys? Or will it be buying less and giving your time to others? What will it be?
