Growing Up Never Gets Easy

Last week was the official start of school for the four. It’s crazy to see how quick these kids are growing, maturing, and honestly, one more year closer to leaving the nest. Watching your kids grow up another year seems to never get easy.  But I know that with each year they move close to all that God has planned for them; careers, ministries, spouses, life.

My prayer for each of us as parents is that we take each school year as a self-check for ourselves, that we are or continuing to build a foundation in our kids that aims to please God in our parenting.  That we are talking, praying, listening with our kids. That we are instilling Hope and Faith in them; continuing to show them about this Amazing God that we serve.
